P+PB is accepting nominations for its Board of Directors by May 16, 2025
The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) is seeking nominations for its 2026 Board of Directors. We are looking for two seasoned executives who can bring deep industry knowledge to our deliberations and represent a range of product sectors to include containerboard, paperboard, kraft and paper sectors.
The Board of Directors comprises representation from eight companies: four companies representing the South, three companies representing the Rest of the U.S. and one Importer.
There are two Board seats to fill, both for the South, with a three-year term that begins January 1, 2026 and ends December 31, 2028. The definition of the South is a company with operations in any of these states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia.
In addition to geographical representation, the selection criteria for board members includes product sector, leadership positions, company size and sustainability commitments. Only one person per company can serve on the board.
